  1. Hello Francesco!!
I’m in love with your photos, I discovered you through the creative commons search ( http://search.creativecommons.org/).
I’m a web programmer and I use your photos for a web project http://reafilma.com/. And I think it not will be the last time.
My question, it’s what I can I do for you in thanks ( donated money to third world) o maybe propose a collaboration.
Do a powerful website for your photos..whatever you want!!

    • Hi Valenpan,
thank you very much for it. Yes you can use my pictures for free. You can find and read my rules here http://www.flickr.com/people/aigle_dore
More or less the thing i most ask for is to credit me by reporting my name and possibly my link to this blog (if you prefer you can put the name and the link also in a credit section instead of beneath the picture)
Regarding the donation, if you donate something of your preference for example to SavetheChildren.org, by sending me the receipt your name will be inserted in the public donators list reported in the same page of my rules. thank you!

Grazie mille e buon lavoro, Alessia

  4. Hello! I am posting a bit about creativity/walking using the SmartPlanet article that features your photo. I’ve included the photo (beautiful work!) and hope I’ve followed your guidelines correctly.

When I learned you are from Anzio, I had to laugh. A month ago, had never heard of that city. But, then, I wrote a poem for NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month) … it’s short & sweet – I think you’d like it! http://cjfoofoo.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/pistachios/

  6. Francesco,

I keep finding your photos on Flickr, covering all my favorite spots of the world. Beautiful work.

I am creating an iPhone app and would like to use your photos. The app is a simple app to be used while hiking or walking… allowing the user to virtually “walk to pluto” or “walk across the mid-east”. It then has facts and photos for the user to view when they (virtually) reach points along the route.

I have read your rules and can easily make sure they are followed… always crediting your phenomenal work, and linking directly to this earthincolors website. I have also donated to Save the Children, a wonderful cause.

Keep up the beautiful work and please let me know if, for some reason, you do not want me to use your photos in this app.

  7. Hi,

I absolutely adore your pictures, like someone above said, they keep popping up when I look for things on Flickr.

Anyway, I have recently used one from your Prague stream. I credited you accordingly, and when people click the pic, they will be directed to your flickr.

    Keep up the good work!
    Cheers from Finland!

You are so talented at capturing light and the spirit of the moment. I used one of your meditation pictures on my latest blog post, with a clickable link to your blog.

  10. Hi, Thank god I found your article and thank YOU Moyan Brenn for sharing all this information with us.
Me and my boyfriend are planning to go to Iceland on March (from 13 to 22, being there during the equinox) to maximize our hypotheses to see aurora. I have some questions to ask you about Iceland but my first post will be regarding photography.
To take photos to the waterfalls which filter do you think it is the best? I use Hoya filters, but which one I don’t know: ND 100, ND 200, ND 500? What do you use? Basically this ND filters only matters to take pictures to waterfalls right?
And to take photos at the sunrise and sunset, do you use a particular filter or technique? I have been struggling to take pictures during those moments, it happens to be all black or all white. And I prefer not to use HDR technique. Do you make HDR photos?
And where should I focus during a sunset/sunrise photography session? Some say infinite, others 2/3 in the middle of the picture.
Thank you so much for your help! I wish we could meet you in Iceland on our trip 🙂 hehe I just sent you a facebook friend request.

  11. Hi Moyan

I have followed your site for about a year since I start my Iceland trip planning and I’m gonna visit in 1 week time.

Just wonder how’s the frequency of the northern light this year? Is there any site we could check on to get an idea of this year chances?

Thanks in advance for your sharing and input
